Re: 2018 NFL Competition Committee

The one rule I'd like to see changed is that they return the penalty for defensive pass interference back to 15 yds...

But defining a catch looks like it'll dominate the committee's attention...

Re: 2018 NFL Competition Committee

Agreed. Those "spot" foul penalties are a killer & bails out teams far too often.

Especially the "chosen" teams.

And who would you have on that list?

Goes without saying that the Pats are alone at the top of the list.
Cowboys, Packers, Seattle however they seem to be falling from
grace as of late. Steelers and a newcomer the Falcons.

None of this brain trust matters much when it's Goodell at the top.

I'm a Boston Red Sox/Celtics/Bruins/Patriots fan as well...

And the Pats have been the beneficiary of some fortuitous calls, but if you watched that Superbowl, the Eagles were further up the Preferred List...

The last play of the game, Hogan was running with Gronkowski down the field and was to be the pick in the end zone, and the Eagles blasted him around the 20 yd line - no interference...

And there were other non-calls as well

I guess RG was still sore from Deflate-Gate. One other I forget to mention was Peyton Manning and the Colts. During that era Peyton had a way of getting the Refs ears. Now all he has is Papa John to b*tch at.

Manning doesn't get enough credit for his all-around game...

He knew where to put the ball for a receiver to draw an infraction - don't kid yourself for one second that he didn't...

Know I'm getting off subject, but I'd love to see the Mannings get control of the Saints - then you'd really be impressed...
