Johnny Manziel's journey to sobriety could be the NFL's biggest nightmare

t's often been said that a drunk mouth speaks sober thoughts.

But in the case of Johnny Manziel, it seems like his journey to sobriety has moved him past the days of giving "canned answers" to thoughtful candor.

Johnny Football is starting to air the NFL's dirty laundry, and it's making some folks uncomfortable.

In a recent interview with "The Dan Patrick Show," Manziel opened up about his failures with the Cleveland Browns, where he rightfully put some of the blame on the franchise.

Because according to him, they knew that marriage was headed for an ugly divorce from the beginning.

"If Cleveland did any of their homework they would have known I wasn't a guy who came in every day and watched film," he said. "I wasn't a guy who really knew the X's and O's of football."

After catching some flack, Manziel later jumped on Twitter to clarify his remarks.
