NFL will be tainted for another season
The NFL’s anthem policy problem is not going away, according to former Super Bowl champion Burgess Owens.
“This is about a global reach,” Owens told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney on “Varney & Co.” on Monday. “It’s about a corporation that understands that they need to get past the American market.” NFL free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick sparked the debate in 2016 when, as a member of the San Francisco 49ers, he refused to stand for the national anthem to protest social injustice. Despite a steep decline in viewership and ad revenue over the past two years, league authorities extended Commissioner Roger Goodell’s contract. In Owens’ opinion, they “have to demean the NFL brand” in order to appeal to a global audience. read more on Fox Business | |

Well as a part of the "global audience" I'm sick of hearing of this crap. Make all of them stay in the locker room. Boom, problem solved.

Re: NFL will be tainted for another season
Until you establish varsity and collegiate football with a substantial following, professional football abroad is a pipe-dream...
There will be pockets of enthusiasts, fans as good as you'll find anywhere in the NFL domain, but you want get the numbers here in the states... NFL offices, and its commissioner, have failed in its marketing efforts to generate interests abroad - we'd already integrated NFL Europe if they had... |

NFL Europe set its attendance record in its last season with an average of 20 000 per game witch shows it was much more than a novelty. Especially the german teams still have fanclubs with yearly gatherings. |

I just cancelled my hundred dollar a year Game Pass subscription. I will watch pirated games online and listen to radio streams and that'll be that.
