Re: Bills' Vontae Davis retires at halftime
A person with honor or respect to his teammates would've played the game out instead of walking away like a quitter. If your body not allowing you to perform or adjust while out their your experience and pride could've at least carried him to the end of the game.
If I was the GM of the bills I'll try to dock him a game paycheck. Someone else could've been activated that game |

I agree with Swammi but how bad are things on that Buffalo team.
Has to be more to this story. |

Re: Bills' Vontae Davis retires at halftime
Back on Hardknocks Miami it seemed like he wasn't all well mentally and this has me wondering once again.

Re: Bills' Vontae Davis retires at halftime
Guy is having some mental issues. He has been doing this a long time. I give him some respect. No telling what the issue is but I don't think it's an attitude thing or so it appears.

Re: Bills' Vontae Davis retires at halftime
For the first time since his abrupt in-game retirement, former Buffalo Bills cornerback Vontae Davis speaks out about the moment he changed his life. “I went to the bench after that series and it just hit me,” Davis said. “I don’t belong on that field anymore.” Davis told defensive backs coach John Butler, “I’m done” and returned to his spot on the bench. The coach didn’t reply. With just 47 seconds until halftime Sunday, the Bills’ defense went back on the field for two inconsequential plays before the half. Lafayette Pitts replaced Davis at cornerback.
