Re: PFT - Clay Matthews: League is “getting soft”
Hate the Packers, but I love Clay Matthews (one of my first draft man-crushes here at Black and Gold)...
Today's penalty was total, absolute BS - and the league is too soft... |

Re: PFT - Clay Matthews: League is “getting soft”
Looked like a clean hit and tackle, hard to believe they are picking on the Pack.

I get the "new rule" but this is taking it too far. That shot AJ Klein put on Matty late in the ball game ... I was just waiting for the refs to pull out the flag.
Me thinks the league wants to get away from defenders sacking the QB. |

Re: PFT - Clay Matthews: League is “getting soft”
Again, all this BS started with a drunk owner, Jim Irsay, got on the rules committee because his receivers couldn't get open from Boston Patriots DBs...

A greater portion of it is from a commissioner that has to protect the financial interests of the owners. He is the impatience behind the deodorization of the game.
