SP recognized his talent and we understand now why he wanted to draft this kid. One can't help but wonder how long he can keep this arm strength up. Brett Favre kept his a while. But his throws did not appear to be as good as Mahomes. In Drew Brees we have seen his arm strength diminish as he's aged, but his accuracy increase. In both cases, the new rules in protecting the QB works to both Brees' and Mahomes' advantages, IMHO.
