I can’t speak for Kareem Hunt on how he was raised. My father was always there though. Married to my mother since before I was born. They were high school sweethearts. He’s retired NAVY. Gulf War Veteran. He told me if somebody ever calls you that word you beat their ass and I’ll come take up for you. So maybe Hunt has a dad like mine.

I don't know where you work, but I don't believe that for a second. Nearly every time a black person and 5 of their friends jumped someone they tried to get out of the consequences with said lie. I work in the hospital. In the state where the woman who joked about attending a public hanging won the race for Senate. A state that historically has had more lynchings than any other and still had chattel slaves all the way up into the 1970’s. Quite honestly it doesn’t bother me whether you believe it or not. You don’t believe anything that doesn’t agree with your position; not even scholarly journal and socioeconomic studies. We’ve been through this before.

I have one daughter though. My oldest is a boy. He’s 5. If either are disrespected in that manner they’re free to respond how they see fit and I’ll be there to back them up like my father was for me. I’ve reacted violently anytime I’ve been called that word outside of my place of employment. Here I am. No jail record. Raising my kids.
