Re: Broncos hire Vic Fangio as new head coach
Actually I'm a little relieved to see Fangio going to the AFC. The Bears defense is impressive. And as others have pointed out, the more head coaching spots out there get filled, the more likely we get to keep Dennis Allen.

Re: Broncos hire Vic Fangio as new head coach
From 1986 to 1994,Vic Fangio was the New Orleans Saints linebackers coach. During that time, he coached the "Dome Patrol", which has been considered by some to be the greatest collection of linebackers in NFL history. NFL Network even voted them so. The group included OLBs Rickey Jackson and Pat Swilling, and ILBs Sam Mills and Vaughan Johnson. The group combined for 18 Pro Bowls, and in 1992 the entire foursome was voted to the Pro Bowl.
