Re: PFT: Incident report alleges Antonio Brown pushed woman, knocked her down
Wow.
The Steeler organization has been a "problem" for quite a while now. Issue after issue, player after player. At some point, people need to really open their eyes on what the rest of us outside the bubble are seeing. Mike Tomlin allowed a lot of this to go on for a while. |

Wonder if she could “fake fall” as well as him.

I have never understood why Tomlin gets a free pass for mediocrity. He won a SB with a team that wasn't even his. It was the Bill Cowher built team peaking at the right time and even then, they were an underwhelming team most of the time who rarely dominated. On paper, they were supposed to have a historic defensive unit and dominant team, yet they struggled closing the door on teams and looked very beatable in the playoffs and SB. In the SB, they allowed a 9-7 Cards team to come back to life and nearly beat them. Since 2008 though, they've accomplished nothing. They made the SB in 2010 and lost. After that, they've won just 3 playoff games since (such wins like the controversial 2015 Bengals playoff game, beating up a crappy Dolphins team in 2016 and beating an Andy Reid coached Chiefs team who held them to zero TDs). Even had they made the playoffs this year, they would've most likely went one and done. The Steelers for several years now have become notorious for "playing down to their competition" where they piddle around and end up losing to garbage teams. We seen it again this year with how the Broncos and Raiders embarrassed them; two teams Pittsburgh was favored to blow out. A lot of Pittsburgh's offensive issues have to do with Big Ben getting his puppet installed at OC and hence why they don't like to run the ball. Big Ben also throws his team mates under the bus left and right, yet is never criticized for this lack of leadership. Bell just spent his entire year making crappy rap tracks and throwing money in strip clubs, now Brown is upping his antics.... The only thing bailing Pittsburgh out at this point is the high end talent. They've got it, but it's undisciplined. I sure as hell don't want Brown (or Bell) in a black and gold uniform. No locker room cancers on this team. |
