Re: Donovan McNabb sees next two years as critical for Carson Wentz
I have never believed in the hype over Wentz. He is a poor man's Brett Favre at best. He and Dak Prescott actually have a lot in common that they are both gunslinger type QBs who have had one decent season and been disappointments outside of that.
If you go through his 2017 season when he was an MVP candidate, his accuracy was actually mediocre. Philly was able to remedy this problem by surrounding him with elite talent. They were loaded that season with WRs and then they made the trade for Jay Ajayi during the season to add another weapon to help him out. Foles took advantage of all that elite talent they had in the playoff run up to the SB that year. Wentz had issues in his rookie season and last year those same issues came back to haunt Philly where he could be shut down from trying to look for big plays down the field. We had him completely locked and shut down in our November match with Philly. |
