Re: Texans Draft Grades

I have never understood why Houston is so hyped up every year under Bill O'Brien. They finally had a 10 game winning season and then got thrashed in the first round of the playoffs to the Colts. In previous years where they were hyped up, they got demolished in the first round. The only teams they've beaten in the playoffs is Cincinnati and the Derek Carr-less Raiders in 2016. That's not saying much. Every year they are hyped up to beat New England even though they have a winless record against them under O'Brien.

The AFC South is the true worst division in the NFL and the Colts have benefited from it more than any other team. People rant and rave about the AFC East and accuse it for why the Pats are so dominant but this isn't the key to their success. New England dominates the entire NFL. If you pull their win/loss percentage, they absolutely destroy the "tough" AFC North and AFC West divisions and they have a winning record against all the NFC divisions too.

I expect the Colts to return to dominance of the AFC South next year. They are the most improved team of that division and they look to be getting better in year 2 under Reich.
