Polian had also built some top notch o-lines in Buffalo back in the 90's when they had their 4 year run. Irsay proves that he learned nothing from Manning's neck injury and how he managed to alienate him from the team. That press conference they did together was so terrible, and Irsay's quote "I want Super Bowls, not Star Wars numbers" was the most disrespectful thing he could've done to the QB who DID bring them a SB victory and got them to another one. Irsay was quoted some time last year saying Luck needed to toughen it out and maybe take some aspirin. This is not an owner who cares about his star QB. You'd think he would have learned the first time around with how he treated Manning and threw him to the curb. Luck's injuries were no joke. He had multiple shoulder injuries, but the one that got me was the lacerated kidney. That's organ damage right there. I agree with you, if I'm Luck and just got married and have a kid on the way, I'm taking retirement too and focusing on them. |
