The funny thing about bandwagon fans down here is that most of them became Cowboys, Steelers or 49ers fans in the 70s, 80's and 90's back when those teams were powerhouses and had their dynasty runs. Now they have to stick it out and endure the suffering years, meanwhile the local team that was too bad for them to root years ago, is having their franchise best runs. ![]()
I talk with some older Patriots fans and they bring this up often; how locals were bandwagonning the Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers and Packers back in their rough years and New England eventually became a dominant team down the line. |
