Tonight's game proved otherwise. He is far from a decent game manager. He isn't going to post the crazy INT numbers Manning did in 2015 cause he rarely ever takes risks like that down field, but Brady is having a year that is nearly identical to his in terms of production and efficiency. He has no arm left. Advanced stats showed last year that when he was throwing the ball down field over 10 yards, he was essentially just throwing it up for grabs. This year that declining arm is even worse. It helps that he is usually throwing short passes, as the Pats offense has relied on YAC for years to inflate Brady's stats. The Pats seem to have suffered some losses to the o-line, hence why their run game is struggling. Without that, they have to rely entirely on defense to bail them out. |
