Re: Jon Gruden: We had an interception overturned by the Wizard of Oz
I think the fact that the PI challenge rule is a total cluster f is intentional.

Re: Jon Gruden: We had an interception overturned by the Wizard of Oz
THE PI REVIEW IS being purposely used to discriminate against certain teams and to be so onerous that it never get’s overturned.
Payton should stop making dumb challenges when he won’t get one overturned This rule is DOA next year the way they are not overturning it. Time for the hands to the face calls |

Re: Jon Gruden: We had an interception overturned by the Wizard of Oz
This is exactly what I thought when he threw the red flag. He threw it against the officials themselves, not against the call. He needs to start throwing it as hard and as high as he can to the middle of the field, and stop dropping it at his feet.

They flagged Lions Trey Flowers with hands to the face TWICE while there was no penalty/foul. IMO Detroit was royally screwed in that game & it cost em. The calls in 2019 have become a lot worse . This is something that the league must address in the off season. It's become evident that the "shield" will make a snap judgment to instantly make PI review able, only to seldom over turn them which seems like a cover up in an attempt to make it look like they really cared about what happened to us in that NFCCG . Man I'm just waiting for a team to get screwed over by the refs in January (playoffs) when it counts. Just hope it ain't us. |

And when those calls went down, my thinking was this is there season, there done... And how many folks will be out of a job (i.e. free agents, coaches) because of these awful officiating gaffes? |
