Just a thought I've been having on this.....Is Jerry worried he may not find a better option for HC? I really wonder how many quality HC candidates would go into that gong show in Dallas, especially if other options are available. The HC in Dallas is a "name only" position. Jones calls all the shots and that is never going to change.

Me and you have talked many times before about Dennis Allen and our displeasure of him from pregame planning to playing soft or play calling in general and not having the guys in the right spot to make a play among other things. I would rather they promote Nolan to DC let Allen walk and have Payton let Nolan and Ireland have total control of the defense from drafting to free agency. Those guys know defensive talent. |

Never agreed with that rule. You've got a billion dollar franchise with multi-million dollar contract players and you've got to fake the motions with a man when you know who you want to coach your team?
