Because of his 20 years. Because he is not 20 years old anymore and his body tells him that.
Because he has other lives than being a NE Patriot.
He has a wife and three young children.
He and his wife, GiselleBundchen, have other business interests/ work. She has her noterity and has been very vocal about him, them.
He has all the money and his brain is not scrambled.

End of an era for NEPatriots.

He isn't considering retirement. He's planning on continuing to play elsewhere.

The Bucs are a "real" possibility for Brady & they have weapons at WR. Arians and Todd Bowles aren't going to suck forever down in Tampa.

Maybe we'll finally get to see Brees/Brady go at it twice a season perhaps?

Lol no worries. I think he's gonna play somewhere else - looks like possibly Tampa. Which goes to show it's about the money for him. Drew's staying w us because of loyalty - he couldve gotten paid a lot more somewhere else.

Patriots probably would've won another chip last year if they had a younger QB.

He should've just retired. He's going to be 43 years old when the season begins and Brady's decline was already broken down on record back in 2018 when they won their last SB. He has 6 rings and is the most decorated QB in NFL history.

He, like Brees mainly has been dinking and dunking it the last two years, rarely throwing beyond 10 yards and when he does, it's usually just up for grabs.

This has Johnny Unitas Chargers vibes. It won't end well.

The Patriots will be fine though. They will get another QB and be back in the AFCCG in the next few years. I 100% expect them to win another SB before Belichick retires.
