Thursday Night Football - Browns/Bengals

this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; I never thought I'd be saying this, but I am actually really looking forward to watching the Cincy/Cleveland game tonight. There are even fantasy implications involved. Joe Burrow. OBJ. AJ Green. Nick Chubb. Jarvis Landry. Joe Mixon. Baker Mayfield. Vonn ...

Thursday Night Football - Browns/Bengals

Joe Burrow. OBJ. AJ Green. Nick Chubb. Jarvis Landry. Joe Mixon. Baker Mayfield. Vonn Bell. Kareem Hunt. Myles Garrett.

Because it is football I would have it on anyway, but by no means enthralled. On paper the Browns should bounce back from week one and take this game, but Burrow is the unknown factor. His last couple of series this past week actually looked very good. This is actually an excellent chance for him to win his first game as a pro.

Baker Mayfield needs to play better.

I'll be rooting for Mr. Burrow though. The tools are there.

Ratings will be worse than last week I know that much. These teams suck. Not on the same page offensively.

Given the game is on NFL Network the ratings should be lower than last week. But, given the fact that the NFL remains the top rated programs on television they will continue get the top revenues. It remains the only surefire advertising vehicle. You want your product to get the most views on the market ... advertise during NFL games.

That said, both teams have plenty off offesive talent. It should be fun to watch!

Ratings will be lower than last week's TNF game and lower than last years 2nd TNF game. Parsing it with "yeah but..." still doesn't change what I stated.

Well. You missed that one, Beast.

NFL Week 2 viewership: NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football premiere draws 6.68 million viewers (7.2 million including streaming), up from 2019

That is up from 2019's first NFL Network game in week two. Go figure, huh?

Apparently my reply to Beast asking him why he cares about the ratings went over your head. I was wanting his reply because I have an idea why he cares.

Obviously Beast and I both care because WE are engaging in a debate about ratings. Why you are interjecting is puzzling.
