Matt Ryan is one of those talents that many teams want as a QB, but then you see problems arise.
numbers like 21 for 30 345 yards and 3 TD. Seems like good numbers right? But then you watch the backup come in, pull a 24 for 30 for 500 yards and 4 TD. While the numbers seem good, its obvious the talent around him at WR/TE positions is making those numbers look good and he is not utilizing them fully, may sound stupid, but this is how him and that offense ticks. Most times Ryan looks for the homerun every play and thank goodness for his check downs being open or he be in a world of hurt. We see the same thing in Detroit with Matthew Stafford, if Stafford could hit half his targets on the deep ball accurately, they win a good many games each year. Talent there, QB play is flash in the pan. Just like Matt Ryan. |
