Re: Severity of Bengals QB Joe Burrow's Injury
I was afraid bad things would happen to Burrow in Cincy with that line. He was taking too many shots before the injury.
Not to mention Andy Dalton took a beating up there too. The Bengals really need to do the right thing and spend money on the O line and protect their franchise QB. No need to get that kid beat up like that, otherwise I fear he may not make it through his current contract. Hopefully he's back to 100 in no time but reading "suffered other structural issues in his knee" .. scares the hell out of me. Heal up Burrow & I hope the rehab goes well. |

Re: Severity of Bengals QB Joe Burrow's Injury
Andy Dalton playing in Cincy kind of reminds me of Archies struggle with the Saints.
Same things happening to Sam Darnold he's getting killed with the Jets. But that injury report is brutal for Burrow, poor kid. As far as the Bengals spending money on the O line.. not as long as Mike Brown owns the team. |

Re: Severity of Bengals QB Joe Burrow's Injury
Before Ken Stabler was a star for the Oakland Raiders, he was a starting quarterback for Alabama, leading the Tide to an 11-0 record as a junior in 1966 and an 8-2-1 record in 1967 while producing memorable plays such as his 53-yard game-winning touchdown run through the mud to help Alabama beat Auburn as a senior. After suffering severe knee injuries, Stabler became less a scrambling quarterback and more a classic, drop-back passer, known for accurate passes and an ..

Hoping Burrow can make a full recovery and this doesn't become an RGIII story. I don't blame the Bengals as much as some. Yes they need a better OL but all it takes is a very unfortunate play - look at Dak.

I don’t know if you guys saw this... here’s an alternate angle of when the injury happened. I beg of you not to watch it if you’re even the slightest bit squeamish.
*NSFL* Now they’re saying it’s the PCL and meniscus that are also damaged in addition to the ACL and MCL. I just... I don’t know how he will bounce right back from this. |
