NFL Ratings Drop

Guiddo said it was not going to happen. I stated before the season even started ratings would be down the entire season.

I was correct. Pathetic people can't own they were wrong. They firmly believed ratings would not drop and still refuse to own they were phucking wrong 100%.

This is the world we live in now. Refusing to accept reality. Truly sad and believing they can talk to their dead daddy about the current situation. They can't. Ratings are down. Truly sad but this is our country now. Trying to reason with the insane on facts.

No. I quickly agreed that ratings would indeed be down and you provided a perfect reason why ... the large drop in fantasy play and you can add in the drop in "legal" betting through casinos, both due to COVID-19.

What I did claim and continue to claim is that broadcast revenues would not be down and and they aren't. The NFL continues to be the top rated shows on broadcast television every week and continue selling out every ad spot. Ratings are down from last year by a few percent which is expected, but are still by far the most viewed programs every week. Once again, ad spending is not tied to overall ratings numbers. It is driven by relative ratings - the ratings compared to other shows in the same timeslots.

What about that do you not understand?

You also don't seem to realize is that advertisers know, as well, that the ever growing number of people that are streaming the games are still getting their national ads even if they don't count toward the broadcast television numbers.

It is indeed an ever changing landscape, and this pandemic is certainly a factor, but the NFL will outlive all of us.

And one more thing, Beast, since you seem fixated on my "dead daddy", how many years did your father serve in the military? For that matter, how many years were you on active duty?
