iirc, 3 playoffs in his four years as HC, including a SB victory..., so I agree with you. In all truthiness, I do think they view him as an excellent coach though. But, when you lose the player’s trust, aka the locker-room, and unfortunately he did, it all comes down to an owner looking at the big picture. I’ll ask a question of you.

Is it more difficult to find an franchise QB..., or a HC? Benching Hurts was not a smart idea, even if it was well intentioned, and if Hurts is the “chosen one” then I understand the owner’s logic. I don’t necessarily agree with that logic, but I can see the road he took to get there.

Yeah, my view of it was backwards..., but it was still the same idea. One guy wanted Hurts, one guy didn’t. When Pedersen benched Hurts, and the player’s “revolted” I assumed it was Pedersen that wasn’t sold on Hurts. Simply put I was wrong in who believed what..., But I still feel ok with saying the benching, plus the player’s revolting plus somebody in management not being sold on Hurts was an issue. I just thought it was Pedersen. My bad.

Pedersen is a good coach though, and imvho, someone will be lucky to have him.
