Madden 06 sliders
Does anyone have a good set of sliders they use? I haven't had much time to play, and am really jonesing. I just need to get going in the right direction, I can adjust to my gameplay from there.
Either All-Pro or All-Madden. |

I am trying to figure out why you are attempting to adjust them. To make the game harder or what? On All Madden with regular sliders, it's pretty difficult. I mean you'll win if you are good, but it's rarely satisfying cause you get sacked 20 times and there are a lot of dropped balls, stuff like that. When I play on Madden, I usually have to turn the defense's AI up still so it's not all blowouts, but I turn their interceptions down cause they get some of the most ridiculous INTs you ever wanna see, while your DBs can get hit directly in the hands and drop the ball. So make it clear what you are trying to do man. Spit it out. lol
And since noone posts in the tech forum, are you getting an Xbox 360? If so, it comes with a live subscritpion so we can get something going online for that. |

Ahh, ok. Well, I would like to adjust the sliders to make it as real as humanly possible, statistic-wise. I don't care too much for the short game, I like to up the minutes to a minimum 10 per quarter.
The interception thing can be quite annoying. I don't particularly care for the 3-step drop and sack on every other pass play, either. I don't mind losing to the computer, if it makes sense, and if I played a poor game. Realism is what I'm going after. Going to pass on the XBox 360 for a while, at least. Holidays are coming up, and I've already spent my toys money for the year. Maybe next year sometime. |
The waiting drove me mad....
I don't want to hear from those that know... Everything has changed, absolutely nothing's changed Eddie is a....draftnik? |

Okay, realism. Even as real as you can make it, there are gonna be those you can't stop the computer from scoring drives. Always. I personally play on 8 minutes, and I still lead the league in all statistical categories, except something like receptions, but then I will have receivers with the most yards and TDs. I am not big on running the clock down. I also have vince Young as my QB and Reggie Bush as my RB, but I digress.
Ok realism. Tick your QB accuracy up 1, pass blocking up 2-3. WR catching one, run blocking 1. On All Madden. Leave RB ability alone, especially if you already have a good RB. On defense, tick the AI for your control up 2, and INTs up 3-4. Also tick up getting off the block and tackling 1-2. Special teams, field goals tick up 1 and punts 1. For the computer, don't adjust any offensive categories. Basically no matter how much you adjust, you are gonna only see marginal increases from your side of the ball, so you really just have to play D. But you should have one or two guys with double digit sacks. If you are blowing the computer out, tick their AI up a lot. 3-4. Almost max. Drop their INTs. You can drop their break block but the are still gonna rush like mad, just not as often since you adjusted you pass blocking. Drop their tackles 1. The upped AI will allow them to have tighter zones and diagnose plays quicker, so occasionally you need a boost in breaking a tackle to make plays happen. And this doesn't seem as cheap as upping your RB ability would. I drop their FG accuracy like 2, and length about 2, and they still make 50 yarders sometimes. I only adjust it cause they never miss if you don't. Everything else I leave alone. Now since you run clock, you may need to make other adjustments, but this should be a start. |
