X-Men 3 The Last Stand

this is a discussion within the NOLA Community Forum; What did you good folks think of the final part of this trilogy? I thought it was just average. I think they tried to do too much at once....

RE: X-Men 3 The Last Stand

From what I heard, it was incredible. I'm going to try and see it on Sunday.

It wouldn't suprise me if they DID cram 'too much at once' in the movie, though. Rumor has it, this will be the last movie. I find it incredibly unfortunate because the massive amounts of comics and storylines that X-Men spun off. There could have been so many movies made - good ones, too.

Anyways, I'm going to try and see it Sunday. I'll be back with my review.

Fox has confirmed that more films will be made if X3 makes enough money. It made $45 million on Friday alone....

Oh, and stay for after the credits.

RE: X-Men 3 The Last Stand

I liked the movie, actually. It did seem a bit crammed, but to an X-Men fan it almost wasn't enough. I wish they would have followed through with the Gambit part instead of cutting him out.

I didn't like the end. It was way too cheesey for me. Plus, I didn't like how they killed off some characters. (Then again, it was done in a way that you don't actually know if they died or not.) I'm not going to be specific and give some of the movie away.

Most of all, though, I fell in love with Kitty Pride. My friends and I all feel like child molestors because we have a crush on her. Hahaha! She's got a potty mouth, too - which was super hot.

I also enjoyed watching Beast just maul people. My friends and I were laughing about that. "Oh, what's your super power?" "Me? I just straight-up maul people to death."

I liked it too, but I didn't stay after the credits, although someone told me what happened. The movie entertained me, and that's all I care about, I don;t give two cares about the direct translation from the comic book .

Oh, turns out the actress that played Kitty Pride is actually 19. So, it's all gravy, baby!
