this is a discussion within the NOLA Community Forum; Chad Johnson and Laveraneus Coles for Javon Walker and Stephen Jackson. Who gets the better end of that deal? Also, I have Jaguars Defense and Cowboys Defense. Which defense would you consider dropping for Vikings defense? Thanks. I hope that ...

Fantasy Football... Help a brother out.
Chad Johnson and Laveraneus Coles for Javon Walker and Stephen Jackson.

RE: Fantasy Football... Help a brother out.
Drop the Cowboys defense... they might get sacks here and there, but they give up a lot of points.
Javon Walker and Stephen Jackson gets the better of the deal... just by a bit. Jackson is a #1 back who gets a crap load of touches therefore whoever is getting Walker who is a number 1 receiver along with a number 1 back the better deal. I'm not knocking Chad and Coles, but backs are more valuable... plus TJ WhosYourMama has been on fire. |

Thanks Papz. I'm the guy with Jackson and Walker. This trade was offered to me today and I almost pulled the trigger. This is my team and I could use some receiver help. That's my conundrum.
B. Favre QB L. Washington RB C. Taylor RB J. Walker WR M. Colston WR L. Smith TE M. Bulger QB C. Pennington QB D. McAllister RB C. Chambers WR (bye) L. Jordan RB S. Jackson RB Cowboys D makes sense. They have some tough games coming up. Jags are pretty beat up though. Do you agree that the Vikes D is more promising then? I'll probably wait until after this weekend and hope no one takes their defense. |

If I were you I'd accept the trade offer, Jackson has been pretty consistent the last 3 games, he had a 56, 81 & a 98 yard game scoring two TD's. I have Walker on my team too who hasn't been great for me but I think pretty soon he'll start giving me good fantasy points.
I see that you have two good RB's on your team but as you know one of them could go down, Jackson could start for you if need be. I'm in an auction type league , we can pick up or drop players every Tuesday, this week I picked up Leon Washington, keep an eye on this guy, IMO he's a huge sleeper this week, in fact I'm starting him over J. Jones. Good Luck, |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

I jumped on Washington too.
Thanks LTF. I'm close to pulling the trigger because I need WR's. However, despite the fact that I need WR help it appears that he gets the better deal out of this. I may throw in a garden variety player like Lamont Jordan for an average to above average player of his to see if he'll bite. I appreciate your input fellas. |

Fargas has been getting the bulk of the carries lately and his fantasy value is dipping... hopefully you can solve your receiving woes by trading him.
