this is a discussion within the NOLA Community Forum; I'm interested to see if any of can agree on this. My vote is for Southern PoBoys on Jefferon Hwy. My second would be Liuzza's by the track (who also makes some serious gumbo). What secret spots y'all got?...

oh
you have to try St Rose tavern's the roast is the real deal not this Winn-Dixie bought sliced crap with gravy but rather I am talking about a slow cooked roast that has just the right spices all I can say is don't take my word for it go and try it for your self now I use to go and get meatball PoBoys over at a place called Giovanni’s sausage co. they were off of airline and the corner of … of… I think it’s David Drive but I’m 100% sure on that it was near the air port But they had the best meatball And as a 2nd I would have to say is a place called the bakery I think it’s on Elysian Fields It’s on the same road as the UNO campus |

Radasta's on Aris in Metairie. They have the best roast beef in New Orleans. The gravy is a little spicy.

Thanks!
I will definitely hit those spots up and get my grub on. I'm a big fan of the meatball PoBoy too. St. Roch used to have a great one. |
