New to the forum...ex saintsreporter

i am a former saintsreporter who just discovered this site. up until this morning i didnt even know this place existed. flipping through the threads and other posts i realize that this is where i should have been the whole time. i was banned from saintreport for having my own opinion and expressing it to a mod. the guy cried for days and then kicked me off. im glad i found this place as it seems this is more my type of people. what are the rules here so i dont get kicked off?

Welcome Speedy Ron! Jump in the conversations and you'll be here awhile. You won't get flamed for silly stuff or jumped by a mod for a different opinion.

SkyMike does a great job of an SR conversation you will never see here.

Ask him and maybe he'll put another one together.

Basic rules are:

Don't make things personal.

Don't engage in Politics on the Saints' board (unless a Saint says something he shouldn't or it has to do with negotiations by the Saints with a governmental agency)

Chose your Avatars carefully

Watch your spelling

Make sure you read the entire thread before responding (more advice than rule)

If you would be embarrassed to say it in public, you should probably not post it here. People have VERY long memories.

So, anyway, Fast Ron, welcome to B&G. The first thing youre gonna do here is fall over from shock, at how you can post something, with your opinion, and not be hate-bombed by a clique of prissy Mean Girls.

I pretty much come here to talk Saints, but it is inevitable that we talk about life too-- I just dont want to know about your messed up politics, and you shouldnt know mine.

We generally talk about what unites us-- Gulf Coast life ---jobs, kids, traveling, food, storms, crawfish, naked women, etc. I do movie and concert reviews, and sometimes we just rant about aggravating things like jail.

I meet a good number of these folks in real life, as the Houston Chapter of WhoDat Nation is quite united, so I dont say anything here I wouldnt say to a Cajun in a bar. Thats my advice.
