Best andouille to buy? Alligator sausage in the Superdome?
I live in NJ and am looking to have a large super bowl party up here, but want to put a cajun spin on things with gumbo, and etouffee.
I'm tired of these BS sausages around here claiming they are andouille when all it tastes like is italian sausage. I'm going to order some cajun meats online and have it shipped up here, but I was wondering what the locals claim to be the best brand andouille? I see a lot of comeaux, that stuff any good? Also, last year I was in the dome for a game and had an alligator sausage that was outstanding! Anyone know what brand they use there or what is a good alligator sausage to get? |
