Somehow we missed this ... at the press junket for The Green Lantern last month, an unidentified reporter asked star Ryan Reynolds and co-star Blake Lively how they managed to hold up while shooting the movie in such a "desolate" location ...

Sorry he got suckered into doing that movie. He told them several times no but they just throwing more money at him. Hard to turn down.
GL was my favorite characters as a kid and I didn't even see the movie because of the bad reviews. I may check it out on rental though. |

He should have played into it and said it was a complete ghost town so it was very easy to film. Only issue was having to fly in extras from Alaska. Nobody wanted to do it. |

hahaha...
reminds me of the ignorant things I heard after the Storm. I'll always remember a boss of mine saying the Saints were as good as gone, because there was nobody left to sit in the Superdome. ... and then it sold out season tickets all the way up to the top. |
