Read NOPD's most overwritten press release recently
Perhaps stifled creatively by its recent inability to include murder victim arrest records in press releases, the New Orleans Police Department has turned to Depression-era hardboiled cop films and/or comics for its inspiration. See today's ACTION ITEM!, which is actually pretty impressive on its own merits:
