ESPN said today punish the Saints and move on. With info coming out about the Redskins and Bills though this is laughable. This is undoubtably a time honored tradition through all past decades of the NFL. As long as there has been offensive players that can hurt you every time they touch the ball, there has been defensive coordinators giving some kind of incentive to remove them for a least a game. This is not tiddly-winks, this is an inheritantly violent game and its time to get back to the days when NFL players were real men who didn't complain every time they got slobberknockered by another player. They got up if they could and congratulated the other player for a "good hit".
