What do you want to rename the New Orleans Hornets?

Tom Benson, mayor-king of the city-state of New Orleans, announced last week his acquisition of the New Orleans Hornets, the basketball team equivalent of the prettiest girl in school you'll do anything to get her to win an NBA championship. (And no doubt disappointing Chris Trew, who has since moved on to coach the New Orleans Saints.)

New Orleans VooDoo is my vote. It doesn't step on the toes of any ethnic group and has this don't screw with me image. The mascot would be a VooDoo doll, of course.

Hell, my last dog was named VooDoo. Great name if you can live with the odd looks from neighbors when you're out in the yard calling the dog.

Then you have 2 teams named Voodoo in the city...both with a similar success rate....
