Free outdoor screening of films from the first Jazz Fest
 Jazz Fest goes to the movies this Wednesday night, May 2nd, with a free outdoor screening of seven 10-minute films that document the very first New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival in 1970. Shot on 16mm film and recently digitized, the films will be shown on the grassy lawn near the Decatur Street fence of the U.S. Mint at 400 Esplanade Avenue on the edge of the French Quarter.?
