In an investigation so thorough, timely and pitch-perfect in execution that I have to call it stunning, Fox 8 digs through city payroll records and finds that Mayor Landrieu's top staff members ? some of the highest-paid people in city government to begin with ? took home about 5 annual cop salaries worth of emergency and overtime pay during the Hurricane Isaac emergency declaration.
