Oh man, I make everything in a slow cooker, and "no", that's not where my userid came from,

. One of my earliest, favorite threads was where I whipped up a batch of gumbo in my slow cooker & got all kinds of good tips from the board. Here's a list:

Gumbo, Brees Mac & Cheese, chicken/pork adobo, chili, roast chicken, fish, rice, beans, fish & rice, red beans & rice, any kind of veggies, pasta ... you name it ... never tried any stuff like the brownies listed in the article though ... that'll be next,
