New Orleans MC Truth Universal officially drops his latest album, Invent the Future, today after a weekend celebration and album release for the record, which rounds up an all-star production team to boost Truth's provocative, community-conscious mind-bending and storytelling raps.

Influenced equally by b-boy culture, Public Enemy politics, golden-era hip-hop as well as political revolutionaries, the environment and community organizing, Truth packs Invent the Future with wall-to-wall calls-to-action, promising to "put New Orleans on the map like Rand McNally" in more ways than one.?
