Bayou Boogaloo sets 2014 music lineup
 Big Freedia, Eric Lindell, Rosie Ledet and The Zydeco Playboys, Sweet Crude, Vox and the Hound and about two dozen other bands have been announced for this year's Bayou Boogaloo, the 9th annual weekend festival on the banks of Bayou St. John in Mid-City.* This year's Bayou Boogaloo will be held May 16-18 on three stages around the bayou.
