Mayor Landrieu supports non-smoking ordinance
 Mayor Mitch Landrieu will support New Orleans District B City Councilwoman LaToya Cantrell's measure to*ban smoking in bars and public buildings, according to Landrieu?s press secretary Tyler Gamble. Landrieu?s support for the ordinance as a public health measure is consistent with his legislation he helped draft as a member of the state Legislature that funded the creation of the Louisiana Cancer Consortium in 2002.?
