Elmwood Palace to screen British stage production of A Streetcar Named Desire

A new production of A Streetcar Named Desire starring Gillian Anderson (TV's The X-Files) and Ben Foster (Ain't Them Bodies Saints) currently running at London's Young Vic theater has has earned rave reviews this summer. One of the final performances of the show ? which sets Tennessee Williams' classic story in modern-day New Orleans ? will be recorded and broadcast the same day to movie theaters across the U.S. Locally, you can catch this one-time event on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Palace Theater, 1200 Elmwood Park Blvd. in Harahan.?
