The Avenue Pub presents some rare beers this week
Although the Blizzard of 2015 in the northeast has cancelled Evil Twin brewer Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø?s visit to the Avenue Pub (1732 St. Charles Ave., 504-586-9243) tonight, his beers arrived and the selection is spectacular. Starting at 5 p.m., the Pub will be tapping 17 Evil Twin beers, including several not ever available in Louisiana before, like Tørst Front Room, an American barleywine style;, Barrel Aged Lil B; and Tørst Back Room, which is an English-style barleywine. Owner Polly Watts says that other beers on tap, such as Aún Más Café Jesús and Imperial Biscotti Break have all but disappeared from shelves in the state, so it might be the last opportunity for quite some time to enjoy them.?
