Out now: Jello Biafra's New Orleans rock 'n' roll live album, Walk on Jindal's Splinters
You may remember Jello Biafra's last New Orleans promenade, in which the punk rock boss man performed a set of New Orleans rhythm and blues with his Raunch & Soul All-Stars*during last year's Mardi Gras.*The band ? featuring members of Dash Rip Rock, Down, Cowboy Mouth, Mojo Nixon, Egg Yolk Jubilee, Morning 40 Federation and Biafra's Guantanamo School of Medicine ? scuffed up and over-amplified the hallowed catalogs of Allen Toussaint and Dave Bartholomew, among other New Orleans legends, for a one-night-only classics massacre.
