Orleans Parish Civil District Judge Robin Giarrusso upheld the city's recently passed smoking ordinance that extends the Smoke-Free Air Act by prohibiting smoking and vaping in bars and casinos. Harrah's Casino and several French Quarter bars filed a lawsuit last month challenging the ban, citing vague language and enforcement and lack of time for the New Orleans City Council to properly review the economic impacts of the ban.?
