 The Indywood Theater at 628 Elysian Fields Avenue closed suddenly last week after losing the lease on its building. Founded 18 months ago and managed by brother-sister team Will Sampson and Hayley Sampson, Indywood had become a hub for film culture in the Marigny by presenting a thoughtful and appealing mix of locally made films, cinema classics and local premieres of new films from across the globe.?
