Mardi Gras
Me and the wife are heading down this morning to catch some Mardi Gras action. Some news reports say it's gonna be the lamest in history due to the weather and the Super Bowl. I'd like to beg the differ ... and I'd like you folks to come out and raise hell with me to back me up.
This Mardi Gras is gonna rock along just fine ... anybody agree??? |

Mardi Gras
I had a great time. I caught a couple parades but the weather was not the greatest.

RE: Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras was awesome in 05. This year I had the most fun. Lots of locals and the real people from this region went knowing that it wouldn't be a tourist fest.
One of the best times I've had of all time. |

RE: Mardi Gras
Yeah - but I rode in Okeanos and the crowds just weren't the same. Too early. Next year should be insanity. It's always wilder when it's later in the year.
