Japan Society presents free screening of documentary Kasama-Yaki Monday night
 The Japan Society of New Orleans will host a free screening of documentary Kasama-Yaki on Monday night, August 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Cafe Istanbul, 2372 St. Claude Ave. The film follows a grown daughter's return to the rural artist colony where she grew up as the tsunami and nuclear disasters shape events in Japan. A social event will start at 6 p.m. and a discussion with filmmaker Yuki Kokubo will follow the screening.? |
