 Launched in June 2013 with a three-piece collection, local eyewear brand KREWE du optic quickly became a fashion juggernaut, expanding to include 20 styles and garnering celebrity fans (Beyonce,*model*Gigi Hadel*and others) along the way. On Sunday, Aug. 30, its flagship location opens in the French Quarter (809 Royal St., 504-684-2939). The 19th-century, 900-square-foot space features an eyewear fitting station, espresso bar by Merchant Cafe and a petite courtyard.? |
