The debut film from Texas music writer Joe Nick Patoski, documentary Sir Doug and the Genuine Texas Cosmic Groove tells the story of legendary musician Doug Sahm, whose Sir Douglas Quintet was described as "the best" among current rock bands by Bob Dylan in the mid-1960s.
