Chaz Fest is back on, returns for 10th edition on April 27
 Organizers of neighborhood music festival Chaz Fest say the show will go on after announcing it pulled the plug on this year's event.*The 10th installment of the 9th Ward festival, which takes place during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival as an offbeat locals-only alternative to the Fest, is Wednesday, April 27. Lineup will be announced. The festival's location at The Truck Farm on St. Claude Avenue was announced for sale, putting a question mark on the fest's future and whether organizers would have time to make travel arrangements for performers and other festival-planning duties, including possibly relocating. "The real star of the show was the property," McMurray told Gambit in early February.? |
