Animal Collective to perform in New Orleans on 2016 tour
 Psychedelic pop outfit Animal Collective will extend its 2016 tour, wrapping in New Orleans on Nov. 14 at the Civic Theatre.The band's 10th album, 2016's Painting With (Domino), is its first since 2012's Centipede Hz and is*propelled by the buoyant, manic pop of "FloriDada." The album continues the rich synthetic tapestries of the 2009 breakthrough Merriweather Post Pavillion*with that album's*trio of Panda Bear (Noax Lennox), Geologist (Brian Wetz) and Avey Tare (David Portner), all building colorful, absurd bursts of frenzied pop.
