New Orleans benefit concert for Orlando set for June 24
 On June 24, New Orleans musicians and drag performers band together for an all-ages event benefiting victims and families of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando that killed 49 people and injured 53 others.NOLA Beats for Orlando is 3 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, June 24 at The Sugar Mill (1021 Convention Center Blvd.) and features music from the Stooges Brass Band, *Tarriona "Tank" Ball of Tank & the Bangas, OTRA, Mia Borders, Khris Royal, Robin Barnes and Arsene DeLay & the Bayou Saints. There also will be drag performances, food trucks and a blood drive to support New Orleans blood banks.? |
